Short + simple bio
Andrea Szirbik Groft, known on stage as Friend Andrea, is a singer-songwriter based in Berwick, Maine. She creates acoustic indie-folk music for children, families, and the wider human family, drawing on her experience as a mother of four, partner, and teacher. Rooted in Friendly values of peace, community, and integrity, she creates songs both on her own and alongside others, using music as a way to build connection. Through songwriting, storytelling, and interactive music moments, she invites people into a shared creative journey - encouraging authenticity and creativity in a way that feels more like friendship than performance.
